I'm glad you're here!

I’m a proud native of Austin, TX. I started doing henna professionally in 1997, then began teaching poi (fire dancing) in 1998. I added hula hoop instruction in 2006 & now love incorporating all the flow arts into my classes. I love to teach beginners, but I can help anyone with their flow! I make a wide variety of giftable items (including hoops of all kinds except LED) & can also teach private art classes on demand. I will help you to express yourself through art or through motion...or both!

HENNA

Being adorned with henna is joyful but also meditative, it teaches you to appreciate the beauty & impermanence in life…to enjoy the moment. Or it can be used for silly fun! I currently take appointments for individuals & very small groups in my central Austin studio. I prefer to take my time with clients, therefore I don't do henna for large events anymore. FLOW ARTS

This section includes info for hooping & poi (fire spinning) classes. One flow art often leads to another & I'm always learning new props. I also currently practice with flags & staff, plus long & short-string flow wands. I teach all of these props & I also sell custom hoops & gyrohoops.
