I have been practicing mehndi, the art of applying henna, since 1997. I make
my paste fresh every week with henna powder imported from India. Every
artist has a unique recipe...I use fresh lime juice, tea, coffee, tamarind paste,
fenugreek seeds, lime or lemon oil, eucalyptus oil & filtered water.

I am downtown at Golden Apple Studios (513 E. 6th St., Austin, TX) almost
every Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening from 7:30pm-close. I take appoint-
ments almost any other time with enough notice. I love to work events of all
kinds...weddings, bachelorette parties, birthdays, baby showers, office parties,
spa parties, etc. I also have a space to host these events if needed. I have many
designs to choose from, but please feel free to bring in your own ideas! Every-
thing I do is freehand.
