Henna on wood
It takes a lot of precision to do henna on wood, I can't move the paste around to correct mistakes like I can on skin. I'm using natural homemade henna paste to dye the wood (primarily Baltic Burch). Every batch of henna will produce a slightly different stain & every type of wood will take the stain differently. I often leave the henna on the panel, which adds texture & greater contrast. Mixed Media
This is always changing! I play with acrylic paints, paint pens, tissue paper, found objects, leaves & flowers, cyanotype fabrics, epoxy resin, stamp carving, gel plate printing, & so on. I lean towards small shareable art, jewelry, notecards, journals, etc. Please contact me for custom work or to set up a private shopping experience!
Paint Marker
An inexpensive & fun way to decorate anything! I use oil-based paint markers & can draw on your walls, your doors, your storage units, your plant pots...whatever! I also use acrylic paint markers to draw on journal covers, gift cards, ornaments, & other artistic endeavors!
